Tricia Walsh LCSW
My goal is to assist others in achieving a greater sense of control in their lives. I have found that many people feel overwhelmed by thoughts and emotions which hold them back from truly living in the present moment. Through the use of best practice methods, I will work with you on developing a treatment plan individualized to your specific goals. I have a wide range of experience working with others in diverse settings such as, community mental health, outpatient and inpatient treatment facilities, substance abuse, military, and schools.
I graduated from the Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis with a masters in Social Work, specializing in Family Therapy. Since graduation, I have received post-graduate training in Eye Movement Desensitization and reprocessing therapy, Biofeedback, Dialectical Behavioral therapy and Rapid Trauma Resolution. Additionally, I am a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) and have completed numerous trainings in EAP and critical incidents. I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers, NAADAC, the Association for Addition Professionals, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy National Certification and Accreditation Association (DBTNCAA.)
